like the two wraithguards equipped, being able to do Hlaalu quests while not in the house, the ruddyman shrine giving out infinite armor, etc. some like those errors as they are, even intended, ha. bugs break gameplay, while errors just stick out but don't break the game. not all errors are bugs, and don't warrant a correction.

UMP was already full of debatable changes.

However, when you look at all the UMP patch notes, then you cannot help but conclude that this is simply not true.

P.P.S.: There seems to be a stubborn myth, which consists of the idea that UMP 1.6.3b is free of subjective changes, and that it went wrong when the patch was transferred to MPP. It had numerous problems and even Quorn himself said not to use it. P.S.: Of all versions and edits of MPP, version 1.6.4 the least recommended. A patch that can be recommended to everyone. I just imagine a patch that everyone can support, in which debatable changes are offered modularly.

In a way my patch can be seen as a statement, it's called “Patch for Purists” for a reason.

What other singleplayer game does that? I think that's sad. And the argument is is almost never stability, but usually if someone stands behind the debatle changes it contains. And what did fifteen years of modding deliver, when it comes to patches? Various different beta versions/edits: 1.6.3b, 1.6.5b, 1.6.5b (BTB edit), 1.6.6, 1.6.6 (Stupid Changes Fix) are all recommended when a new player asks for a patch. MPP has left no room for this debate however, from what I have read on their forums. Various other items values were also changed.Īll these changes were debatable and subjective, because they were not clearly bugs. The value of the Hackle-Lo Leaf was changed from 30 to just 3, making some quests with it as a reward now pointless.Requirements for many quests were changed.Added any object that were not included in the ESM files, but were included on the game CDs.Heather ingredient was removed from Ajira.Bonebiter Bow of Sul-Senipul’s damage was buffed and given new model.Hasphat's suggested books were added to the Hall of Justice Secret Library.a few topics titles were changed, causing LGNPC issues renaming cells etc.) Resist Paralysis was made 10 times more expensive.
